Commission Agreement
By commissioning a custom artwork from [Stephanie Baron/AAW], you agree to the following terms:
1. Scope of Work
The artist will create a custom piece based on the details discussed and approved prior to starting.

Artwork/Description: As agreed upon between client and artist

Medium & Materials: As discussed (e.g., acrylic on canvas, mixed media, etc.)

Size: As agreed upon prior to starting

Estimated Completion Date: Provided before work begins
2. Payment Terms

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin the commission.

The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion, before delivery or shipment.

Shipping and handling costs (if applicable) are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise stated.
3. Revisions

The client is entitled to [2] rounds of minor revisions during the sketch/paint process.

Significant changes outside the original concept may incur additional costs.
4. Timeline & Delivery

The artist will provide an estimated completion date before work begins.

Delays due to materials, shipping, or unforeseen circumstances will be communicated promptly.
5. Copyright & Usage

The artist retains all copyrights and reproduction rights to the artwork.

The client may not reproduce the artwork without written permission.
6. Cancellation

If the client cancels after work has started, the deposit is non-refundable.

If the artist cancels, the deposit will be fully refunded.
7. Agreement
Payment of the deposit indicates that the client has read, understood, and agrees to these terms.
**** Custom paintings are created in the order they are received. If there is someone ahead of you, your piece will begin as soon as theirs is complete. I will always provide an estimated start date and contact you when I begin.
