contemporary figurative work on canvas and paper

complete WOMEN

I paint women because I want to see them. I study body language and expression.

The women in my work are not models.
They are memory.
Bodies that have lived.

Bodies that have carried people, grief, laughter silence.

They are imperfect on purpose.
Unposed. Unarranged. Unmanaged.

Because that is how we exist.

Collectors tell me they see themselves. Not because the women look like them exactly — but because they feel like them.

Familiar.
These women are not ideals.

They are recognition.
