Rusting Out

A deeply textured original on handmade paper, built up with layers of paint, marks, and heavy, tactile gestures.

The surface carries deep impressions and rough marks throughout, giving the piece a physical quality that photographs don’t quite capture. The handmade paper is torn roughly along the bottom edge, leaving the rawness of the material visible.
